We keep the registration for a little while longer, but all registrations from this point will automatically be on a waiting list.
In case of people canceling their registration, we will fill up those spots from the waiting list.
Please note, that the waiting list for single followers is already very long (more than 50), so registering as a single
follower is unlikely to succeed.

Confirmation Mails
Posted on 22.12.2025Since we already received so many registrations already, we decided to speed up the confirmation process a little bit!
We will send out the first 50 confirmation mails as a late christmas present between Christmas and NYE. We will still follow the original plan of
sending out confirmations on a 2-week schedule afterwards, so that means by end of January we will have confirmed most spots.
If some of your best friends haven't registered yet, please tell them to do so ASAP, so we can consider them for our event! We are still
looking for more leaders, so spread the word to your favorite leaders and lets make BTM every followers paradise!
Hotels at the venue
Posted on 25.11.2025To ensure a comfortable and convenient stay during the marathon, we've secured deals with Leonardo Hotel and NH Hotel,
which are both right next to the venue. Our guests will receive special rates at these hotels (limited availablity, better
be quick!).
The details to this offer will be sent along with the confirmation email!
Registration Process
Posted on 05.11.2025Our registration is only about a month away, so here is some info on how it will work:
-There will be 3,5 rounds of acceptances. For each round we will send out 50-60 acceptances on a 2-week schedule.
The first acceptance emails will be sent out sin early January, the next ones 2 weeks later, and then again 2 weeks.
For the last batch of acceptances we will keep a couple of slots open for latecomers. To maximize your chance of acceptance
and to make our lives as organisers easier, please register as early as possible!
-We will accept a maximum of 25% local dancers, 25% from other german cities and at least 50% international guests.
-Some of our selection criteria are: friendliness, dance level, international diversity, ronda-awareness
-BTM is an event for advanced dancers. Please understand, that we will only accept dancers that have a certain level
of experience. We also expect more registrations than we can accept, so we will not be able to accept all registrations!

After-Party on Monday
Posted on 23.10.2025For those of you who can’t get enough Tango, we’ll keep on dancing until Monday evening! DJ Nick Shaforostov will
keep us dancing until our feet fall off. Our venue is the Universo Tango, which is one of the oldest Milongas in Europe.
We are happy to have such an atmospheric place for our afterparty! The afterparty is open to the public and of course
free for all marathon participants.
Thursday Pre-Party and program Information
Posted on 12.10.2025It is time to give you some information about our marathon program. We will - of course! - have both a pre- and an afterparty!
For the pre-party we will collaborate with TangoMATRIX. The Milonga is open for everybody, the entrance
fee is included in the marathon pass. To ensure the best music, we will have everybodys favourite frenchman Thibault taking care of
the music.
Coming early to Hamburg will be well worth it with our pre-party and the city tour on Friday afternoon!
It is also only 2 months left until we start with the registration process, so tell all of your favorite dancers about this event
to make it the best it can be!
